HIFU is a non-surgical High Intensity Focused Ultrasound technology and unlike lasers and radio frequency, delivers focused ultrasound energy at the specified depth(i.e.3.0mm/4.5mm SMAS layer) and at the focal point temperatures of 60-70ºC are produced which stimulate the production of new collagen without damaging or disrupting the epidermal skin tissue. Clinical studies have shown that this temperature range is needed to stimulate new collagen production and by in effect bypassing the nerve sensors in the epidermis the treatment is both essentially pain free &effective.
The result of HIFU is to rejuvenate skin, leading to a more youthful appearance with sharper contouring. At same time, the transdermal energy to rupture targeted fat cells at specfic depth (13mm/6mm/8mm etc.) in areas where they tend to enlarge(e.g., hips, thighs, abdomen, buttocks) to reshape those areas to reshape those areas for cosmetic purpose.
